TrevorLee.me is a blog dedicated to the practice of children’s, youth and family ministry. Like doctors or lawyers who practice their profession, I truly believe ministry is a continual practice. God is always moving and always changing. Although there are firm foundations in ministry, which never change, the implementation does change. TrevorLee.me focuses on encouraging, equipping and exploring generational ministry and leadership. We accomplish this through an ongoing dialogue with family ministry leaders, including children’s pastors, youth pastors, and lead pastors.
I am currently serving as the Family Life Pastor at LifePoint Church located north of Seattle. It is a great honor to serve with such an incredible team of pastors whose hearts beat to reach the 90% who have not found Jesus in the northwest. I lead a team of staff that minister to the youth, birth through senior high, and families in our community.
I received a masters degree in Pastoral Leadership at Northwest Nazarene University. With the help of a very patient wife, a supportive church family, and an incredible drive from the Lord, I managed to finish the program in March 2012.
The ministry has brought many blessings in my life. The best blessing was finding my beautiful bride, Chelsea. We met on the mission field in Mexico and 2 years 7 months later we were married on a sandy beach, at sunset, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We have two incredible active and crazy sons- Evan and Sam. As God would have it, Evan was born on a Easter weekend and it was the first Easter vacation I had in my years of full time ministry. We had our second son, Samuel, on Cinco de Mayo. Although my calling is to serve all families, my family is truly the most important part of my life.
